Its looking good wearing a glove in one hand. But some golfers like to play without gloves.Golf shirts for menhttps://www.pinksandgreens.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5786532067953996112.post-66902122393330561472013-09-04T07:17:35.318-07:002013-09-04T07:17:35.318-07:00This is very informative. I'll give it a try for sure!Gio and Larie Marinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09446566733688857834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5786532067953996112.post-37270277177975888042013-09-04T07:15:42.238-07:002013-09-04T07:15:42.238-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Gio and Larie Marinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09446566733688857834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5786532067953996112.post-27846681284288134122013-08-12T09:45:03.677-07:002013-08-12T09:45:03.677-07:00I haven't worn one in about a year. It didn't take long to get used to not wearing one. I never play in humid or wet conditions, so moisture is never an issue for me. All irons were forged blades so we never had to debate forged vs. cast or blades versus cavity back. Tees were one and 3/4 inches long. Gloves had a snap at the wrist because Velcro had not been invented. Shoes were heavy leather monsters with steel spikes and "Kilties" protecting the laces.

I have to admit that the game is a lot easier than back when I started. Of course in the old days the courses were shorter and the greens less quick. But all in all for amateurs the game is less difficult to achieve a degree of competency.Brian Kuehnnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5786532067953996112.post-14638481029167348172013-08-10T07:50:58.333-07:002013-08-10T07:50:58.333-07:00Ritual behavior maybe? Who knows, maybe it is a day to day thing. Maybe I'll just have glove days, and no-glove days. The ritual aspect is intrinsic to the game and there is something reassuring about it but it can also be a pain in the ass at times.

BK, it's awesome that you've been playing for so long. Do you remember when you started playing--were the grips less tacky?Legitimate Golfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13403181693530513035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5786532067953996112.post-5232175805266820832013-08-10T06:20:25.861-07:002013-08-10T06:20:25.861-07:00... because I have always worn a glove. The feel ...... because I have always worn a glove. The feel of a glove has become "normal" when I hold a club (except a putter - never putt with a glove). Going gloveless feels odd after 50 years of wearing a glove.Brian Kuehnnoreply@blogger.com
